I was referred to Christine by a photographer / friend, Mylyn, who we worked with a few times now. Luckily, Christine booked me upon seeing our before and after photos. 😉

Oh what a day it was! We got home from an event at around 10PM the day before her wedding and had to leave at 2 o’ clock in the morning since our call time is 4AM. I was sleeping the whole time on our way to their house in Brgy. Maligaya, Rosario, Batangas.

Upon arriving at their house, I was instantly awaken by someone singing with a live guitar from afar. They had a traditional provincial wedding. When we arrived 4AM, they just finished the party the night before the wedding. I was quite familiar of this since my parents are from Pangasinan and I was able to witness the same thing a couple of times where weddings have 2-day celebration. The first day is the dance party, the second day is the wedding and reception proper and then dance party again. We weren’t able to witness the whole stuff since I was starting to get sick the moment we finished everyone with their hair and makeup. Good thing our team was able to pull off with this wedding.

On MAKEUP: It was the first time I saw Christine since she just arrived from Abu Dhabi a few weeks before her big day. She was a bit oily so I tried to keep everything matte and light.
