With just a few exchange of emails (10 to be exact), she decided to book me. Glenda is yet another overseas bride from New Zealand. This wedding is one of the memorable for me since this is our very first wedding in Tarlac. Jonathan and Glenda’s love story is quite amazing so allow me to share it to you.

They became a couple at a very young age so they had to keep their relationship a secret at first. But when her parents found out, they had to be separated. Their love for each other was stronger so they both fought for what they feel. Soon enough when her parents realized that Jon and Glenda are really in love with each other, they approved their relationship. There came a point when Jonathan had to leave for New Zealand which turned out to be the couple’s hardest trial for not seeing each other for almost a year and a half. Trust and communication was their key. When he came back to the Philippines, they got married civilly in January 2008. A year later, Glenda moved with Jonathan to New Zealand. After three years, they finally decided to get married in church to proclaim their love for each other in front of Jesus, our Lord.

Eleven years of laughter and tears, and they finally got married. We’re so lucky to be part of their dream wedding.
